I am almost finished with my book. It is decent, I wish it were more graphic, this bitch is far to innocent for my likings.
Outside is sticky and humid, and I can't seem to escape it. AC does no good any longer, I long to be dunked in a tank of ice cold water, and left there until the water begins to warm from this never ending heat. I feel like my skin is simmering, baking, cooking, and I'm not even getting tanner. |

Womens fashion is now little boys fashion. It started with the loss of body mass, curves became fat, and fat is just not fashion. Boobs and butts were replaced with giraffe necks, water-cup collar bones, and razor blade shoulders. The curves that women were blessed with went out the window with the waif trend, but I could handle that, it wasn't a bad change. I am all for pin-thin, empty stomachs, and lapping water out of anoter models collar bones. But what the fuck is happening now? The round-girlish faces, the whimsical faces, the alien looks, and creatures that used to crawl across the runways were atleast identifiable as ladies. This new mess of model are square faced, and boyish. I have been out of the loop for a while and today while looking at the new girls, I wonder if they were the new girls or middle school boys. I can't get behind this one. Go back, revert, fashion repeat yourself already, because I don't want to aspire to be a 12 year old pin thin boy. I want to look like a coat hanger, but still a midly attractive one, a cute little girl. |

I feel almost as if I were regressing as a person. I feel like I was just as mature and sensible two years ago as I am now. All I feel I've grown and learned in that time is pent-up resentfulness towards almost everything. I feel like I've just swirled two years down the toilet. I've accomplished nothing really. I stopped challenging myself. I stopped pushing myself to evolve. I've just changed physically, my mental state has regressed into a chilhood craving for freedom that I can't seem to find even in my own freedom. I guess I need to spend more time thinking about my life and less time wasting away, being resentful towards everything in it. |
